Who can take part
- You had a stroke (either from a clot or bleeding) within the last 7 days.
- One side of your body is weak or paralyzed, especially your arm and hand.
- You can understand and follow simple instructions.
- You are able to straighten your fingers at least a little (3 degrees or more) at least three times in one minute.
- Your arm function is moderately to severely limited, as measured by a standard test (score less than 47 out of 66).
