Who can take part

  • You had a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) confirmed by CT or MRI scan
  • You have stiffness (spasticity) in your upper arm, wrist, or fingers that was treated with Botulinum Toxin injections
  • You can move your arm or hand at least a little bit on your own
  • You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, uncontrolled seizures, or skin problems where electrodes would be placed
  • You can understand instructions and participate in a training program
  • You do not have severe joint stiffness, recent fractures, or severe arthritis in your arm
