Part of Eyes & vision, Heart & circulation, Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.
This study looks at early damage to the retina (the back of the eye) in people with type 2 diabetes, even before vision problems start. It aims to find new ways to detect and treat diabetic eye disease early.

This study closely follows people with type 2 diabetes who have early signs of diabetic retinopathy (damage to the retina from diabetes) to see how the condition changes over time. It does not test a new treatment but monitors the eye's health closely. It may be a good fit if you have diabetic retinopathy that does not need immediate treatment.
This study looks back at medical records of people with type 2 diabetes to understand how diabetic eye disease (retinopathy) progresses and when treatment is needed. It may help doctors better predict risks and guide future care.
This study looks for specific eye findings (“biomarkers”) in people with type 2 diabetes using eye imaging. It may help researchers better understand diabetic retinopathy and how to detect it earlier or more accurately.
This study tests a new approach aimed at improving diabetic eye disease (diabetic retinopathy). It may help by changing inflammation and related processes in the eye, especially in people who have diabetes and eye changes.
This study is testing a better way to diagnose and manage eye problems (diabetic retinopathy) in people with type 2 diabetes. It aims to improve how doctors find and treat these issues to help protect your vision.
This program aims to screen people for diabetic eye problems early and help prevent vision loss over time. It may help you if you have type 2 diabetes (or you’ve been invited as a diabetes/non-diabetes participant) and can safely take part in the study activities.
