Who can take part

  • Your baby must be between 30 days and 1 year old
  • Your baby must be scheduled for elective (planned) heart surgery
  • The type of heart condition must require surgery where a small piece of heart muscle is removed as part of the procedure
  • Diagnoses like Tetralogy of Fallot or pulmonary stenosis often qualify
