Who can take part

  • You have acute heart failure or stable chronic heart failure
  • You are willing to sign a consent form
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You do not have certain congenital heart defects (like tetralogy of Fallot or atrial septal defect)
  • You do not have an artificial heart valve, pacemaker, or ICD
  • You are not pregnant and your weight is between 77 and 330 pounds
