Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with heart failure.
  • You have had a hospital stay or emergency visit for heart failure with fluid buildup in the lungs in the past 12 months.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other electronic device in your chest.
  • You are not currently pregnant (if you are a woman of childbearing age).
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form, and you are not currently in the intensive care or coronary care unit.
