New method to keep mom and baby together after C-section

  • Born at 34 weeks or later
  • Birth weight at least 2000 grams (4.4 pounds)
  • Mild breathing trouble needing only low levels of extra oxygen (30% or less)
  • Both parents must agree and sign a consent form
