Who can take part
- You are between 20 and 39 years old.
- You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or more) and are at least 37 weeks along.
- You are scheduled for a planned C-section (before labor starts) and will have it within one week of receiving a steroid injection to help your baby's lungs.
- You do not have any major health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, or kidney problems.
- Your pregnancy does not have complications like too little or too much amniotic fluid, or the baby is not growing properly.
