Who can take part
- You have heart failure for at least 6 months from when it was first diagnosed.
- You are NYHA heart failure Class II or III (symptoms with activity, but not the most severe Class IV).
- In the past 12 months, you had at least one heart-failure hospital visit or urgent emergency-type visit due to fluid buildup needing IV diuretic medicine.
- Recent blood test shows high BNP or NT-proBNP levels (measured within 90 days of starting the study).
- You’re already on the best heart-failure medications you can tolerate, with stable doses for at least 3 months (and many key doses stable for at least 1 month).
- You’re between 22 and 88 years old and can safely undergo heart monitoring procedures (including possible catheter testing).
