Who can take part
- Female and 80 years old or younger
- Able to do daily activities with little or no help (ECOG 0 or 1)
- Breast cancer that has spread to lymph nodes above the collarbone on the same side as the tumor
- Expected to live at least 3 months
- Healthy enough for surgery or radiation (no major heart, blood vessel, liver, or kidney problems)
