Who can take part
- You are 19 years or older.
- You have type 2 diabetes and take 1 to 3 diabetes medicines (or insulin) at the same dose for at least 8 weeks.
- Your kidney function is moderately reduced (eGFR between 30 and 60).
- Your most recent blood sugar check (A1C) is between 7.0 and 10.0%.
- You do not have other severe kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart failure, or recent serious heart problems.
