Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You need to have suitable veins for blood draws.
- For healthy volunteers without kidney disease: BMI must be between 18 and 30.
- For people with diabetic kidney disease: BMI must be between 20 and 40 (Part C) or 20 and 35 (Part D).
- If you have diabetic kidney disease, your blood sugar control (HbA1c) must be 10.5% or lower.
- You must be on a stable dose of certain blood pressure medicines (ACEi or ARB) for at least 6 weeks before the study if you have kidney disease.
