Brain chemical study for sleep apnea and snoring

Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 60 years old.
  • You either have sleep apnea (with snoring and daytime sleepiness), snore without apnea, or are a healthy person who does not snore (confirmed by an overnight sleep test).
  • You do not have a serious lung, brain, or heart condition.
  • You have not used a breathing machine (like CPAP) for more than 3 months or had throat/airway surgery for sleep apnea.
  • You do not have untreated thyroid issues, acromegaly, vocal cord paralysis, severe mental illness, alcohol abuse, or take sleeping pills regularly.
