Who can take part
- You are a man aged 18 or older.
- You are having a total hip replacement because of arthritis or hip dysplasia.
- You have low testosterone (a blood test below 300 ng/dL) or signs like decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, reduced muscle mass or strength, or hair loss.
- You have not had any prior surgery on the same hip.
- You do not have prostate cancer, breast cancer, or an allergy to testosterone, and your PSA (a prostate marker) is not above 4 ng/mL.
