Preparing for hip replacement: A pre-surgery exercise study
Part of Bones, joints & muscles clinical trials.
This study tests a prehabilitation program (exercises before surgery) for older adults waiting for a total hip replacement. The goal is to see if strengthening before surgery helps recovery afterward. It is for people with severe hip arthritis who are otherwise in good health.
