This study compares two different exercise programs to see which one helps young women with obesity lose weight more effectively. If you are a woman aged 18–45 with a BMI between 30 and 40 and you are not on certain medications, this trial may be a good fit for you.

Who can take part

  • You must be a woman between 18 and 45 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) should be between 30 and 40 (this is considered obesity).
  • You should not have any serious heart, lung, hormone, or rheumatologic disease.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You cannot take certain medications (like antidepressants, antipsychotics, steroids, diabetes drugs, or birth control pills).
  • You cannot have had weight-loss surgery or used weight-loss medication in the last 6 months, and you must not currently be on a regular diet or exercise program.
