Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You had an ischemic stroke (blocked artery in the brain) no more than 7 days ago.
- Your stroke symptoms are moderate to moderately severe (NIHSS score 6–20) and you have weakness in at least one arm or leg.
- You can understand the study and give consent, or have a legal representative who can.
- You do not have bleeding in the brain, other brain conditions like tumors or Parkinson's, or serious infections or organ problems.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
