Who can take part

  • You must have a solid tumor (not a blood cancer like lymphoma or multiple myeloma).
  • Your spine must be stable (no risk of collapse) – doctors will check this with a special score.
  • You must be able to walk at least 10 meters with or without a cane or walker.
  • You cannot have had radiation or surgery on the same part of the spine before.
  • Your doctor estimates you will live at least 3 months.
  • You must be generally well enough to care for yourself (some help is okay).
