Who can take part

  • You are between 1 and 39 years old.
  • You have a solid tumor (not starting in the brain) that has come back or not responded to treatment, OR you have fibrolamellar carcinoma (FLC) that has not responded to at least one prior treatment, and a special gene test confirms the DNAJB1:PRKACA change.
  • You have finished prior cancer treatments and recovered from side effects (for example, at least 3 weeks since last chemo, 2 weeks since local radiation, 12 weeks since a stem cell transplant).
  • Your blood counts (neutrophils and platelets) are at certain levels (usually without needing transfusions, unless the cancer has spread to bone marrow).
  • Your kidneys and liver are working well (based on blood tests), and you have not had a specific type of targeted therapy called Bcl-xL inhibitors (like navitoclax or DT2216) before.
