Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with major depression and are currently experiencing at least moderate symptoms
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or higher
- You have been on the same antidepressant medication or therapy for at least 4 weeks and agree not to change it during the study
- You currently do not eat a Mediterranean-style diet very often and are not already practicing mindful eating
