Who can take part

  • You have a kidney transplant and need a biopsy of the new kidney
  • Your kidney function is below a certain level (GFR less than 60)
  • Your platelet count is above 80,000
  • Your blood pressure is under control before the procedure
  • Your blood clotting tests are normal
  • You are not pregnant and have no history of allergic reaction to DDAVP
