If you are getting strong chemo and are admitted to Children's Wisconsin, this treatment might help you avoid mouth sores and feel better during treatment.

Who can take part
- You must be between the ages of 0 and 30 (children and young adults).
- You must be admitted to Children's Wisconsin on the oncology/BMT unit, PICU, or West 5 floor.
- You must be receiving a high dose of methotrexate (or a lower dose if you have Down syndrome / Trisomy 21) or a strong anthracycline chemotherapy.
- You must not already have the most severe level of mouth sores (grade 4).
- You or your family must speak English or Spanish.
