Who can take part

  • You are a Black mother or primary caregiver of a child with asthma.
  • You feel sad or depressed (score of 8 or more on a depression questionnaire).
  • You are 18 years or older and speak English.
  • Your child has asthma diagnosed by a doctor and has public health insurance.
  • Your child is under 18 years old and will stay under 18 for the 6-month study.
