- You must be 18 years old or older.
- After your heart restarted, you still cannot follow commands or move on purpose.
- You received advanced life support and cooling treatment within 6 hours after your heart restarted.
- You cannot have had a recent head injury, stroke, or brain bleed.
- You cannot be pregnant.
- Your family must agree to let you join the study.
