Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 60 years old.
  • You have pain on the inner side of your knee, rated 3 or higher on a 0–10 pain scale.
  • You have mild bow legs (5–10 degrees of separation on an x-ray) and your foot rolls inward when standing.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is below 35.
  • You have not had knee surgery and do not use a cane or walker.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or nerve disease.
