- You are between 0 and 90 years old.
- You are having surgery with spinal anesthesia for a non-brain or nerve problem, like a broken leg or hemorrhoids.

- You do not have a neurological condition such as encephalitis, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, hydrocephalus, brain tumor, or psychiatric disorder.
