Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • Your health status should be classified as ASA I, II, or III (generally healthy to mild or moderate health condition)
  • Before the procedure, your blood oxygen and carbon dioxide levels must be normal without needing extra oxygen
  • You cannot be pregnant
  • You must not have any blockage in your nose or throat that would prevent using a high-flow oxygen mask
