Tinnitus implant study for adults with chronic tinnitus and hearing loss

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had tinnitus (ringing in the ear) for at least 6 months.
  • Your hearing loss is mild to moderate in both ears.
  • Your tinnitus is severe (scores between 50-100 on a loudness scale and 52-90 on a tinnitus impact questionnaire).
  • You have not gotten enough relief from standard treatments like hearing aids or counseling.
  • You can speak and understand Dutch.
  • You are healthy enough for surgery and using the implant.
