Who can take part

  • You have ringing (tinnitus) in only one ear
  • Your tinnitus is very disabling and has lasted more than 1 year without major change
  • You tried standard treatments like hearing aids and CBT, but they did not help enough
  • You’re over 18 years old and can give informed consent after learning the risks and that benefit is uncertain
  • Your hearing tests fit specific ranges: worse hearing in the ringing ear, and better enough hearing in the other ear
