Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a kidney cancer tumor larger than 4 cm that has not spread to the kidney vein or main blood vessel.
  • You are not able to have or choose not to have standard surgery to remove the tumor.
  • Your liver and blood counts are within acceptable ranges as determined by blood tests.
  • You have no evidence that the cancer has spread to other parts of your body.
  • You are willing to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant.
