Who can take part
- Must be 18 years or older and pregnant with a single baby
- Pregnancy is between 8 and 16 weeks along
- Body mass index (BMI) at start of pregnancy is between 18.5 and 35
- Have an adult in your household who shares at least one meal with you daily and can join the counseling
- Speak, read, and write French
- Not have certain conditions like diabetes, a history of weight-loss surgery, eating disorders, or special diet needs
