This study is testing a mobile app called PTSD Coach, along with support from a clinician, to help World Trade Center responders in Florida reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress. It may be a good fit if you have some PTSD symptoms but not severe alcohol or drug use, and you are not already receiving PTSD treatment.

Who can take part

  • You were a rescue or recovery worker at the World Trade Center site.
  • You live in Florida.
  • You own a smartphone and are comfortable using apps.
  • You speak English or Spanish.
  • You are not currently in treatment for PTSD.
  • You do not have severe alcohol or drug problems (except cannabis).
