Reducing laser pain with vibration

Who can take part

  • You have not had any previous laser or other treatment for diabetic retinopathy.
  • You need laser treatment in both eyes for proliferative diabetic retinopathy (advanced stage).
  • Each eye needs at least 500 laser spots.
  • The number of laser spots in one eye cannot differ from the other by more than 51 spots in the upper or lower half.
