Robotic stand trainer and spinal cord stimulation for balance

Who can take part

  • At least 18 years old
  • Had a spinal cord injury from trauma (like a fall or accident) for at least one year, and your condition is stable
  • Already have a spinal cord epidural stimulation device implanted, and it can get a software upgrade as part of a previous study
  • Cannot stand on your own when the stimulation is turned off
  • Not currently taking anti-spasticity medication, or willing to stop
