Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Your medical condition must be stable
- Your spinal cord injury happened at least one year ago
- Your injury must be above the T10 vertebra (mid-back level) and non-progressive (not getting worse)
- Your injury must be classified as A, B, C, or D on the ASIA scale (some ability to move or feel below the injury)
- Depending on your group assignment, you must either be able to stand independently for short periods or not be able to stand at all
