Who can take part
- You are 22 years or older
- You have a spinal cord injury between the C6 and T10 levels, with at least 1 year since the injury
- Your injury is “motor-complete” (ASIA A or B) and you have intact reflexes below the injury
- Your injury is stable, and you can attend all scheduled study visits
- You can pause blood thinners/anti-platelet medicine for the surgery period if needed (or your doctor approves it)
- You do not currently have pregnancy, pressure ulcers, or an infection that keeps coming back despite antibiotics
