Who can take part
- Age 60 or older
- Diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) with geographic atrophy in at least one eye
- Geographic atrophy area between 2.5 and 10.16 mm² (measured by special eye imaging)
- Vision in the study eye at least 20/70 (correctable with glasses)
- Able to receive vaccinations against meningitis and pneumonia before starting treatment
