Part of Cancer, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This trial is testing if adding the targeted therapy tivozanib to the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab (Keytruda) can help prevent kidney cancer from coming back after all known tumors have been removed by surgery.

NCT07389629Recruiting· Phase 2
Combination therapy before surgery for kidney cancer

This trial tests a new drug combination given before surgery for kidney cancer that is early stage but hard to operate on. The goal is to shrink the tumor and make surgery easier.

NCT07172386Recruiting· Phase 2
Pre-surgery treatment for advanced kidney cancer

This trial tests if a combination of targeted embolization, immunotherapy (Toripalimab), and a targeted therapy pill (Axitinib) can shrink advanced kidney cancer before surgery. It is for patients whose cancer has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes, or has limited spread elsewhere that can be removed.

Immunotherapy plus targeted therapy before kidney cancer surgery

This trial tests giving two medications (a PD-L1 inhibitor and anlotinib) before surgery for complex kidney cancer, to try to shrink the tumor enough that surgeons can remove just part of the kidney instead of the whole organ. The goal is to preserve kidney function and avoid dialysis.

NCT07037004Recruiting· Phase 2
Testing a gut health supplement with immunotherapy after kidney cancer surgery

This trial is testing whether adding a gut health supplement (CBM588) to the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab can help prevent kidney cancer from returning after surgery. It is for people with certain types of kidney cancer who have not had immunotherapy before.

NCT07218692Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
RP2 and tivozanib for kidney cancer after immunotherapy

This trial tests a combination of two drugs, RP2 (an oncolytic virus injected into tumors) and tivozanib (a daily pill), for people with advanced kidney cancer that has clear-cell or sarcomatoid features and has grown after prior immunotherapy and a targeted therapy. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors or slow the cancer's growth.
