  • Your child is between 6 and 24 months old.
  • A blood test has shown your child either has iron-deficiency anemia or is not anemic.
  • Your family has lived in the study area for at least 6 months before joining.
  • You are willing to give consent and follow the study plan (including checkups).
  • Your child was not born premature (before 37 weeks) and weighed at least 5.5 pounds at birth.
