Who can take part

  • Your colorectal cancer is on the left side of your colon or rectum and has spread or cannot be removed with surgery.
  • Your tumor does not have changes (mutations) in the KRAS, NRAS, or BRAF genes — this is called 'wild-type'.
  • You have not had any previous treatment for colorectal cancer that has spread. (If you had chemo or radiation for an earlier stage, it must have ended more than 12 months ago.)
  • You have not taken any medicines that target EGFR, MET, or VEGF (like cetuximab or bevacizumab).
  • You are well enough to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
