  • You are between 55 and 75 years old
  • You are male or a female who has stopped having periods (postmenopausal)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 20 and 35 (a measure of weight relative to height)
  • You are generally healthy — no serious heart, lung, kidney, liver, or other major diseases
  • You have not donated blood in the last 3 months
  • You do not smoke
  • You do not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse
