Who can take part

  • Be older than 18 years
  • Have a return of spontaneous circulation that lasts more than 20 minutes
  • Be in a deep unresponsive state (GCS score under 9)
  • Be more than 15 minutes from return of circulation (ROSC) to start of treatment
  • Cardiac arrest must not be from a major injury/trauma
