Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a diabetic foot ulcer that has been present for more than 4 weeks and is less than 4 cm in diameter.
  • Your ulcer has no or only mild infection (no pus or redness spreading).
  • You are not currently using antibiotics for this wound (or have stopped for at least 7 days).
  • You have good blood flow to your foot, as measured by a blood pressure test (ABI).
