This trial tests a new “micro water jet” device (Debritom+) to help heal specific hard-to-heal wounds in people who can attend frequent visits. If you qualify, you’ll be assigned to the device treatment or standard care and monitored to see how well the wound heals.

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • Your current wound has been present for more than 4 weeks but treated for less than 1 year.
  • Your wound size is at least 1.0 cm² and no more than 25 cm² at the screening visit.
  • Your wound has been relieved of pressure (“offloaded”) for at least 14 days before randomization.
  • Your circulation to the affected foot is adequate (based on a test like ABI or a circulation scan).
  • You can understand the study and agree to sign consent and come for weekly visits.
