Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a broken vertebra in your mid or lower back caused by osteoporosis or a tumor.
  • An MRI has confirmed the fracture is new and actively causing pain.
  • Your broken vertebra has not collapsed to less than one-third of its normal height.
  • You do not have a spine infection, severe bleeding disorder, advanced kidney disease, or unstable spine needing surgery.
