Who can take part

  • Recent fracture in your lower spine (L1–L5 vertebrae) caused by osteoporosis, confirmed by MRI
  • Never had spine-cement surgery (vertebroplasty) before
  • Complete spine imaging scans: X-ray, CT, and MRI or bone scan done before surgery
  • Age 18 or older and able to give written permission to join the study
  • No old spine fractures, tumor history, or other bone diseases
  • Your broken vertebra's back wall is intact (not severely broken or leaking)
