Who can take part
- You must have finished the treatment period in a previous study of atacicept for IgA nephropathy.
- If you took a break from atacicept (drug holiday), your blood pressure must be 150/90 or lower.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant, you must use very effective birth control.
- You must not have had a rapid loss of kidney function (more than half of your eGFR in 3 months).
- You cannot have had a splenectomy (spleen removal) if you are in the drug holiday group.
- You must not have used strong immune-suppressing medicines for IgAN in the last 2 months.
