How Eosinophils Work in Asthma

This study looks at how certain immune cells (eosinophils) work in people with asthma. It compares people with mild to severe asthma, including those who have or haven't taken biologic treatments, against people without asthma. The goal is to better understand asthma and find new ways to treat it.

Who can take part

  • You have mild or severe asthma, or you are a person without asthma (as a control).
  • You are not currently taking or have recently stopped taking corticosteroid pills or injections.
  • You do not currently smoke, and your past smoking is less than 20 pack-years (for example, 1 pack a day for 20 years).
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You are covered by French social security and are willing to take part in the study.
