Avacopan for active IgA kidney disease with crescents

IgA Nephropathy (IgAN)

Treatments studied

Part of Immune system & allergy, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This trial tests if avacopan, a targeted anti-inflammatory drug, can safely treat a severe form of IgA nephropathy (IgAN) where small crescents form in the kidney filters. It may help reduce protein leakage and preserve kidney function.
