Fasting every other day for fatty liver disease

Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 40
  • Your weight has been stable (changed less than 5 kg) in the last 3 months
  • A liver stiffness test (FibroScan) shows your liver stiffness is less than 14 kPa
  • You have been diagnosed with NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) or MASH, with no more than moderate scarring (stage F3 or lower)
